“I have been working as a Sports massage therapist  for the last 7 years. I love the science behind the art of bodywork. As practitioner, I love  the power of facilitating healing. Being  flexible in my treatments, I’m able to offer  the client what they need. There are many  aspects, which contribute to a person’s stress  levels and physical well-being. Exploring these aspects helps me tailor each treatment to that person’s needs and comfort level. The tailored treatments bring relief from physiological pain and stress, as well as provide emotional support on many levels.”

"I have achieved an ITEC Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Leisure Management 2006. This includes gym, aerobics, nutrition and professional conduct. I also attained an ITEC Diploma in Personal Training, Sport and Holistic Massage at Sallynoggin College of Further Education. Having finished my studies at Sallynoggin, I then studied Sports and Exercise Science at Napier University Edinburgh for a year. I graduated in June 2008 with a Distinction at Degree level. Four years ago I obtained Level 4 in Sports Massage, last year I studied with the NSC in Orthopedic therapy and I have 2 qualifications in dry needling. I am constantly looking to up skill."

Catherine Hogan

Physical Therapist Bsc

Catherine Hogan has 19 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry, expanding her knowledge from fitness instructor, swimming instructor, to personal trainer and on to Physical Therapy.

Catherine has over 11 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist working with clients from both sporting and non-sporting backgrounds. She complements her role as a physical therapist with her background in Personal Training.

Catherine is a qualified Stott Pilates teacher and combines this with massage, dry needling, cupping and kinesio taping in her treatments. She loves to be active and has a personal interest in Astanga Yoga and cycling, completing in cycling sportives around the country and incorporated working as a physical therapist with the Dundrum Cycling team for the FBD Ras 2006.

Catherine has recently graduated with an honours degree in Exercise and Health Fitness from University Limerick. She has Certified in NM1 and MN2 Neuro Minipulation from The Barral Institute.

Her passion has always been fitness and subsequently understands injury and the frustration involved when injury occurs and prevents training.

I have been practising as a Physical therapist for the past 7 years since graduating with a BSc. from the Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Health Science. I have also completed courses in Dry needling and strength and conditioning. 

Since graduating I have built up a wealth of experience treating and rehabilitating clients with a wide range of different conditions and ailments. 
I have worked with clients from all walks of life from high performance athletes to elderly clients with both chronic and acute conditions. 
I have worked with various county level GAA teams and with both recreational and competitive runners and triathletes which has given me invaluable experience in treating sports injuries of every kind.  I am also currently tutoring in anatomy and Physiology and sports therapy in Portobello college. 

I have a keen interest in treating postural and occupational related pain and I continue to work with many corporate companies to improve general ergonomic conditions in the workplace to prevent any potential posture or work related injuries from occuring. 

I base my treatment plans on the latest evidence based research and I incorporate therapies such as dry needling and spinal manipulations into a mainly hands on approach to treatment 

I am also a qualified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach which allows me to give individualised rehabilitation plans for all my clients. 

All treatments are covered by all the major health insurers.
